Thematic workshop in La Cambre on net culture and open ways of creating

Tuesday the 8th of November, Constant was invited to make a small insert into the thematic week in La Cambre art school. This thematic week is cross disciplinary and the themes of this semester were hacker movements, free software, open internet and surveillance.
On this Tuesday afternoon, we talked about Constant, the way we work. I also talked about my own practice and a conscious choice for free software and open licenses. We went from prototype to creating a work with a local group of people to finding technical help in the open hardware network online, to finally documenting this whole process. We talked about open licenses and did a small exercise on how different licenses have different consequences. And lots more...
